Founder of Adouré Ink STUDIO
Hi, I’m Julie — a San Diego-based fine line tattoo artist and advanced permanent makeup specialist with over 15 years of experience in the beauty industry.
While I host other independent artists in my studio, I remain the face and sole artist behind Adouré Ink & Beauty.

My journey started humbly as a seasonal gift wrapper at Sephora in 2004, where I quickly found my way into the world of color and artistry.
In 2008, My passion led me to join the Sephora Pro Team, a prestigious group of 12 elite artists representing the brand on a global level. For over a decade, I traveled as a Sephora Lead Pro Artist, working backstage at New York Fashion Week, on celebrity red carpets, in product campaigns, and on internal artistry education programs and product development that shaped hundreds of beauty professionals. My work has been featured in editorials, national campaigns, and showcased on celebrities, influencers, and musicians. And one of my greatest accomplishment is being a co-inventor of a never before seen brush shape that filled a hole in the market and became a top selling franchise for Sephora.
While I loved the fast-paced life of global beauty, I craved more personal connection, creative freedom, and a slower pace. In 2015, I decided to leave my 11 year career with Sephora. I returned to San Diego and discovered a new path in permanent makeup—a space that combined my love for detail with deep, one-on-one client experiences.
In 2017, I launched my first business- Adouré Beauty, offering natural-looking cosmetic tattooing and helping clients feel confident, empowered, and at ease.
By 2020, I realized how much I missed teaching and launched my Lip Blush Master Training, helping other artists grow their skills with confidence and integrity. I’ve mentored students across the country and continue to offer education as a core part of my brand.
In 2021, I opened my own studio, intentionally built with a boutique tattoo studio vibe, offering something different from traditional shops. My goal was to create a cozy, clean, beautiful space that felt like a mix of spa and art vibe—perfect for those new to permanent makeup and body tattooing.
In 2022, I expanded my offerings and launched Adouré Ink, focusing on fine line tattoos—specializing in dainty floral tattoos, minimalist designs, and micro realism. This was a return to my roots as an artist and a chance to truly live my purpose of helping others in a creative way. Never in a million years would I imagine becoming a tattoo artist but this is the perfect medium and the amount of fulfillment I get from connecting with people and helping them tell their story, bring a little joy, and heal is so rewarding.
This led to my decision to stop teaching Lip Blush tattoo and focus on building my tattoo business and inviting independent artists to share my studio.
In 2023, I made the leap to full-time body tattooing, and in 2025, I returned to one of my greatest passions—education—and began my first year of mentoring apprentices who are eager to step into the world of fine line tattooing.
In 2026, my goal is to continue remodeling my studio, with the dream of creating a space that feels creative, cozy, and truly welcoming—especially for women seeking a safe and comfortable environment.

More Than a Studio
Outside the studio, I love working out, doing yoga, and exploring the outdoors with my double doodle, Hiro—who’s featured in many of my brand photos and is truly my hero. I’m always searching for new coffee shops in San Diego, soaking in live music, and playing with other art forms like resin, painting, and illustration.
At Adouré, it’s not just about looking good—it’s about feeling like yourself. I’m here to offer thoughtful, high-quality cosmetic tattoos and custom fine line pieces in a space that’s welcoming, safe, and rooted in care.

I recently came to Adoure beauty to get lip blush done after seeing amazing photos of before and afters online. The salon is so cute!! It's so inviting, relaxing and clean. The time that was taken to make sure that my lips were perfect from shape to color was so detailed and comforting. Julie is a true professor who clearly takes a lot of pride in making sure she delivers the best results possible!! My lips came out the exact color I wanted after healing and the service itself wasn't painful due to the lip care before and during procedure. I highly, highly recommend Adoure beauty. Julie is highly recommended for all your microblading needs. I was looking for someone to microblade my brows for awhile. I saw my friends that were done by Julie. They were so natural looking. You couldn't tell they were microbladed. I called first to talk with Julie and then booked an appointment for a week later.
Since I'm disabled, she drove to me in Murrieta and did my eyebrows in my home. It was so convenient for me. She made me feel so comfortable like I was in her salon. The whole microblading did not hurt at all. I actually fell asleep at one point.
Julie was very professional and ensures you are completely satisfied with your eyebrows. She calls and checks on you during the aftercare process and let's you know what else to expect with your eyebrows.

Just got my very first tattoo done by Julie and I'm happy I went with her. She took the time to explain how the tattoo's going to look like on my arm and listened to my ideas to make sure it was exactly what I wanted. Her studio was clean and beautiful, not intimidating at all but very aesthetic! I was nervous as it was my first but she was very reassuring and constantly asked how I was feeling. My tattoo came out beautiful and exactly as how I imagined it. I can't recommend her enough!
